Project Overview

Archie Gumede Place was previously used as Municipal Canteen. It was a place where council employees would congregate and socialize over als during lunch. It was converted into a Centre Excellence where the general public come to assistance applying for jobs, retaining its social pect. However over the years, the building started to settle which led to structural cracks and needed airs. The nature of the structural repairs meant t all internal walls had to be demolished, new Indations laid, new surface bed and new ablutions. s has also been an opportunity to also refresh the erior and modernize the waiting area for the public.
